About the Event
We will be gathering for a picnic and walk from Riverside Park to Bergstrom Mahler Museum of Glass. We will spend time with our Indigenous community members as we focus on health and wellness. Join Us as we share the Sacred Medicine Wheel Teachings and make a small glass art project. Space is limited for this project so you will need to sign up in advance. Glass Art Project for ages 5+. Parents must accompany children who participate.
Feel free to drop off the dish you bring to pass at Bergstrom Mahler Museum of Glass... you may drive the dish up to the door. We will then be parking our vehicles near Riverside Park and walking to Bergstrom Mahler Museum of Glass where we will be meeting in the backyard to gather together for a picnic potluck. Please bring a blanket or something to sit on while we are outdoors. You can drop them off when you drop off the food if you prefer. You will need to provide your own utensils, and plates. Water will be provided.
Those who would like to participate in the Glass Art Project will be given up to 45 minutes to work on this project while the rest of us continue to hangout outside. 2 groups of 15 will be given an opportunity to learn about the Sacred Medicine Wheel Teachings and make a small art project.
Please purchase your ticket to register. Tickets will be available to purhase until July 28, 2024 for the Picnic Potluck and Walk. This is a free event.
Don't forget to sign up for the art project space is limited and tickets will close by on July 22, 2024 by noon.
